Going Dutch - Yes or No Going Dutch at a business lunch is normal. But what about going Dutch at a date? Oops, this suggestion can make women fury. The thing is that all the discussions about equality and feminism seem forgotten when paying for a dinner at a romantic encounter. Maybe in the Netherlands it’s quite traditional to offer your date to go halves on a bill, but American women won’t like the idea.

So what’s wrong? Should men foot bills on their own or should they try to share a dinner cost? Due to the recent stats they’D BETTER not to mention going Dutch to someone they want to see again. And women in their turn, shouldn’t make a scene - when men want to pay for a dinner, a trip, entertainment on their own. If they do, it’s like a signal for males - this gal isn’t interested in me. Dating experts recommend women to make a suggestion of splitting the bill on the third date, if men agree, of course. (more…)

Gender Jokes - Have Fun, Make Sense Men are making jokes about women, and women neither want to be behind and share jokes about men. Is this normal? So many people from the both camps seem concerned about this. Some simply don’t like them and refuse listening. Some feel humiliated and disrespected. Some get so angry that it’s safer to clear out. How do you think it’s ok for men and women to make gender jokes?

There is always a reason of everything. As for gender jokes they are based on stereotypes, most researchers are sure. Scientists call them gender-based jokes. Men find blonde jokes more amusing than women do. But according to stats women find some jokes about females even funnier than men do, while men don’t like jokes about themselves. (more…)
